13 years ago. it was built in 1988. Toro and Lawn-Boy wheel clutches did not disengage in reverse until 1993. They turn the axle backwards when pulled backwards. They have to be lubed and adjusted well to work properly. Belt should release or shift to neutral. The ratcheting pinion gear only allows you to turn it easily.Put it reverse and moves fine, back in drive and right rear locks up leaving skid marks. No CEL/ABS lights, no issues shifting into gear, no noises like grinding or popping. Park brake very seldom used and was not set during this instance.
